Who Should Apply? Key Requirements
To be considered for this vital position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Possess an appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- Have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.

- Proficiency in technical analysis and report writing.

Your Key Responsibilities:
As a Survival Equipment Technician, your duties will be diverse and crucial to naval operations:
- Inspect, service, repair, test, and install specific certified inflatable life rafts and associated emergency equipment.
- Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs on life jackets.
- Manufacture related items from fabric, canvas, leather, plastic, and rubber.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct pre-delivery checks to guarantee all lifesaving equipment is serviceable before it reaches the end user.
