Role Overview: What You’ll Do

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing Payroll Transactions: Get hands-on with time sheets, direct deposits, bonuses, allowances, pensions, and other employee benefits.
- Mastering Payroll Systems: Support data entry and end-to-end payroll processing using cutting-edge systems like PaySpace and Workday.
- Employee Engagement: Respond to routine payroll-related inquiries, developing your communication and customer service skills.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and assist with crucial data reconciliation tasks.
- Team Support: Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the payroll team.
- Project Involvement: Participate in ad hoc projects and assist with compliance and reporting duties, giving you a broad view of HR operations.

- A relevant qualification in Payroll or an equivalent field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.

- A solid understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), MEIBC regulations, and South African Tax Legislation.
- Familiarity with performing payroll reconciliations.
