Are You the Right Candidate? Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
Education & Registration:
- A three-year National Diploma (NQF6) or an Undergraduate Degree (NQF7) in Security Management or Security Risk Management.
- Valid PSIRA Grade B registration.
Experience:
- A minimum of one (1) year of functional clerical or administrative experience within Security Management or Information Services.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of: Minimum Information Security (MISS) policy, Financial Management, Departmental policies and procedures, the OHS Act, Criminal Procedure Act, and the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- Essential Skills: Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, computer literacy, and strong observational abilities.
Your Key Responsibilities: Duties
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Administering pre-employment screening requests.
- Capturing Z204 forms on the SVIS system.
- Implementing and maintaining document security measures.
- Administering Declaration of Secrecy forms for staff.
- Receiving and processing results from the State Security Agency (SSA).
