To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications & Experience:
- A recognized legal qualification: BPROC, LLB, or BCOM Law.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Legal or Compliance environment.
- A valid driver’s licence.
Required Knowledge:
- Public Service Act, Regulations, and transformation issues.
- Treasury Regulations and Departmental Policies.
- Corporate Governance principles.
- Skills Development Act (SDA) and Skills Development Levies Act (SDLA).
Essential Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
- Computer literacy and planning & organizing abilities.
Your Key Responsibilities (Duties):
The successful candidate will be entrusted with the following duties:
- Provide assistance in court for the enforcement of Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES) matters.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of enforcement processes for IES.
- Develop and manage the advocacy strategy for the province to promote compliance.
- Facilitate and manage capacity development programmes for provincial inspectors.
- Compile and manage statistics for the Unit to track performance and outcomes.
