What You Will Earn
A competitive monthly stipend is offered based on your academic status:
- R10,109.86 per month for applicants with a completed qualification (minimum 120 credits).
- R3,500.00 per month for applicants who are currently enrolled students.
Are You the Right Candidate? Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4).
- A Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in one of the following fields:
- Business Management
- Business Administration
- Public Management / Administration
- Or a closely related field
- No prior work experience is required – this is the perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door!
- Proficiency in English (both reading and writing).
- Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Excel skills are essential).
Your Key Responsibilities
As an intern, you will be immersed in the core functions of the department and will gain hands-on experience in:
- Providing professional administrative support to the Business Management Directorate.
- Assisting with critical functions like monitoring, evaluation, compliance, HR, and strategic planning.
- Undertaking site visits and risk assessments to verify project data – a unique and valuable field experience.
- Helping to draft reports, concept notes, business plans, and quarterly submissions.
- Handling confidential documents and information with the utmost discretion.
