Key Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A National Diploma in Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification technical experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Current Compulsory Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- Electronic technician experience (a distinct advantage).
- Technical report writing.
- Ability to conduct planned maintenance, repairs, and testing of electronic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and information.
- Knowledge of electronic maintenance, repair procedures, and test equipment.
- Computer-aided technical applications.
- Project Management, Decision-making, and Problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting planned Maintenance on Electronic Systems.
- Operating Test Equipment and diagnosing faults.
- Using software-driven Test Instruments for testing and analysis of data to ensure the quality of electronic equipment.
