This role is critical to maintaining the infrastructure of a key national security facility.

Who Should Apply? Key Requirements

This is a senior role requiring a substantial level of expertise. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A valid and appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
  • 10 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan or Artisan Foreman.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Essential Skills: A Civil Trade Test is a special requirement.

Critical Competencies and Knowledge:

  • Advanced ability to read and implement detailed design drawings.
  • Experience in writing Specifications and Statements of Works.
  • Strong project management, technical design, and analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in technical report writing and conducting repair investigations.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance within a technical environment.
  • Ability to perform accurate technical calculations and assess performance data.
  • Advanced communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Proven leadership, supervision, financial management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages, particularly Excel.

Your Key Responsibilities (Duties)

The successful candidate will be entrusted with the following duties:

  • Surveying sites for building and civil works.
  • Preparing and maintaining building and civil works plans.
  • Undertaking essential building maintenance duties.
  • Acting as a Team Leader for the Building Maintenance team, providing supervision and guidance.
