About the Internship
This internship is hosted within AgriSETA’s Supply Chain Management division. It is meticulously designed to move beyond theoretical knowledge and immerse you in the day-to-day operations of a professional SCM environment. You will be tasked with real-world responsibilities, giving you a competitive edge in the job market upon completion.
Key Responsibilities
As an intern, you will be entrusted with a variety of crucial tasks, including:
- Sourcing and comparing quotations from tax-compliant CSD suppliers.
- Generating and managing purchase orders.
- Assisting in bid committee meetings and providing secretariat services.
- Safeguarding and managing stationery and office supplies.
- Assisting with staff travel bookings and logistics.
- Maintaining procurement registers and ensuring reporting compliance.
- Performing ad hoc SCM tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an equivalent qualification.
- No prior work experience is required – making this ideal for recent graduates.
- Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills.
