Purpose of the Program
The learnership program is designed to provide successful candidates with the essential skills and knowledge required for a career in mineral processing. You will undergo comprehensive training and gain invaluable on-the-job experience within the Processing Department. Upon completion, you will earn SETA-accredited qualifications in the following skills programs:
- Ore Reception (MQA accredited)
- Ore Crushing (MQA accredited)
- Scrubbing and Screening (MQA accredited)
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this learnership, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 10 or ABET Level 4 certificate.
- Location: Applicants must reside within the JTG District Municipality or Joe Morolong Local Municipality.
- Skills: Possess basic technical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Personal Attributes:
- Disciplined, responsible, and dependable.
- Maintain a positive attitude and high ethical standards.
- Medical Fitness: Must be declared medically fit for the role and meet the fitness standards required to work in a mining environment.
