About the Role: Plant Operator
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the control and monitoring of field operations, ensuring the smooth and safe functioning of the plant and tank farm. You will report directly to the Shift Supervisor and be part of a team that values safety, reliability, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and monitor the field operations of the plant and tank farm.
- Record plant conditions and report any abnormalities or faulty equipment.
- Analyze plant and product samples and assist in chemical and product batch preparations.
- Prepare work clearance permits and monitor contractors on site.
- Safely inspect and fill road tankers or ISO-tanks for dispatch.
- Act as a Panel Operator when required.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to strict safety protocols at all times.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Responsible Care standards.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Grade 12 (Standard 10) with a minimum of 40% in English and Mathematics.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening English communication skills.
- A motivated, confident, and team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, accountable, and proactive in your approach to work.
- Must be prepared to work shifts (day/night) or be on standby as per the operational roster.
- A clear criminal record is required.
- Own reliable transport is essential due to the location.
