Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Grade 10 qualification.
- A valid Driver’s license.
- Knowledge of: Departmental policies and procedures, the Public Service Regulation Act, the Public Service Act, all legislation relevant to the post, and a working knowledge of Ministry operations.
- Essential Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and computer literacy skills. Proficiency in driving, time management, and conflict resolution is also required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collecting and delivering documents and correspondence from various locations, including the Post Office and other Departmental Offices.
- Transporting employees in the office of the Minister, guests, and special advisors to and from different areas.
- Rendering general support functions to ensure the smooth operation of the Minister’s office.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on all policies and procedures relevant to the work environment.
