This is a senior role requiring a substantial level of experience and a diverse skill set. Before applying, ensure you meet the following mandatory requirements:
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
- An appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan or Artisan Foreman.
- A valid driver’s license.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will be proficient in:
- MS Office packages, particularly Excel.
- Computer-aided technical applications.
- Advanced communication in English (both written and verbal).
- Technical report writing.
- Advanced analytical thinking, research, and problem-solving.
- Leadership, supervision, and management.
- Project Management and Financial Management.
- Technical design, analysis, and knowledge of production processes.
- Legal Compliance, Change Management, and Planning.
- Customer focus and responsiveness.
Your Key Responsibilities: The Duties
As the Senior Artisan Foreman, you will be entrusted with a wide range of critical duties, including:
- Managing all administrative duties for the section.
- Training and developing subordinates.
- Updating and improving systems and equipment.
- Managing quality standards and ensuring safety and security protocols are strictly maintained.
- Performing supervisory duties and assisting with budget requirements.
- Overseeing environmental services.

- You MUST use the new Z83 application form (effective from 01 January 2021). It can be obtained from any Public Service Department office or downloaded from the DPSA website.
- The Z83 form must be originally signed and dated.
- Submit a detailed CV with your completed Z83 form.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit certified copies of qualifications (not older than six months) before the interview.

Selection Process
Please be aware that the selection process is rigorous:
- Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to Personnel Suitability Checks (criminal record, citizenship, financial/asset checks, qualification and employment verification).
- Security clearance processes are mandatory.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo two pre-entry assessments: a practical and an ethical exercise.
