NCP Chlorchem is offering a 12-month SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) Learnership Programme for 2025, based at its Cato Ridge facility in KwaZulu-Natal. This programme is designed to develop a competent SHERQ professional to support the company’s compliance and risk management objectives. The ideal candidate is a South African who has passed Matric with Mathematics and Sciences, possesses good computer and communication skills, and has a passion for the field. Purpose of the Learnership:

To develop and produce a competent SHERQ professional who can support and contribute to NCP Chlorchem’s legal compliance, risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend both theoretical and practical learning sessions in the SHERQ department
  • Complete logbooks and summative assessments
  • Perform all workplace experience tasks aligned with SHERQ standards

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Matric with Mathematics & Sciences

Skills & Competencies:

  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Planning and organising ability
